"I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing." Ezekiel 34:26

Happy new year to all of you! Sorry for the long delay in updating our blog, It's been a busy season. Misty, Michael and I are healthy and being blessed. Michael just started pre-school this week, he seems to be really enjoying it more this year...so we're grateful for that.

These last couple of months have been a whirlwind. First of all...The Sexton family who were here serving along side of us decided to move back to the U.S. They left about 1 month ago. We appreciate so much all of the prayers and support that have been given to us through this season. The Lord has been faithful to send us guys from CC Capetown and CC Kommetjie to lead worship for us on Sundays which is a real blessing. We are praying that He will raise someone up from within the fellowship eventually to fill that gap. We are expecting great and awesome things from the Lord this new year...as He is a great and awesome God!

Please pray for David and Vicky Emerson who are answering the call of God to move to Paarl to assist us here in what the Lord is doing. Please pray that their visa's will go through and also for the financial support they will need to come here and live. We are really looking forward to them getting here.

We have added some pictures of recent ministry events, We also want to remind you that your prayers and financial support open the door for an abundance of ministry to take place here in Paarl. We love you and miss so many of you very much.

Youth Beach retreat with the youth from the 3 local farms we minister on.

They were so excited to be at the beach

Hello Mike and Misty!
My name is Adonis and I fellowship and CCT. Pastor Barry keeps has posted on the amazing work that God is doing in South Africa. I just checked our blog site for the first time and its been a blessing to see and hear about all that's happening in Paarl. I just wanted to thank you for the work that you're doing and the hearts that you’re serving at Paarl. I see the love and the joy in the eyes of the people you're serving! It's awesome!! I'm also extremely blessed by your transparency regarding your needs. That is exactly where God wants us... open, honest and vulnerable before Him so He can accomplish His specific and wonderful work in us. I am currently going through a four-month discipleship program in Nassau, Bahamas called Patmos Reality Discipleship. This journey has been stretching me beyond myself and into the hands of God in ways that I have never expected. I'm sure you both are experiencing the same thing. Growing in the Lord is always good and something we need to be doing daily but it doesn't feel so good all the time. But thank God for Jesus and for the body of Christ!!
Thank you for your service to Lord and thank you for listing your prayer request and needs, I will be praying for your family and for the Lords provision for all your needs! For your health to continue to be well, for a visit to the US REALLY SOON! Worship Leader, that pastors that were ministered to in Malawi, Calvary Chapel Lilongwe and Pastor Tom and Christine, the "all nighters!" the Mac Pro and Indesign! God is so good!
Thank you again for your willingness to serve and for being a living sacrifice.
May God bless you and keep you and accomplish the work he has for you in South Africa! I hope to meet you in person when you visit the US or if God sends me to Africa!!
God Bless you both!!
